Das Berliner Power-Trio um Mastermind Kiryk Drewinski (Gitarre/Gesang, ex-Liquid Visions, ex-The Magnificent Brotherhood), Holger Grosser (Drums) und David Götz (Orgel/Bass) erblickte 2014 das Scheinwerferlicht der Welt.

Benannt nach dem ersten Steinwerkzeug der Menschheitsgeschichte ist ihr Sound ebenso roh, effektiv und „made from solid rock“. Die Gruppe nutzt ihren WEDGE genauso wie das archaische Instrument, um Feuer zu entfachen – besonders live. Dort dominieren Kiryks virtuose Gitarrenarbeit und Holgers explosive Drums den Klang der Band und treiben ihn oft in epischen Jams zu multiplen Höhepunkten. David wechselt dabei geschickt zwischen seinem donnernden Fuzz-Bass und einer Leslie-betriebenen Orgel.



Doch WEDGE elektrisieren nicht nur live. Drei Studioalben auf Heavy Psych Sounds Records überzeugen international sowohl die Tanzenden als auch die Schreibenden mit kreativen, eingängigen Songs und authentischer Produktion.

The Berlin power trio, led by mastermind Kiryk Drewinski (guitar/vocals, ex-Liquid Visions, ex-The Magnificent Brotherhood), alongside Holger Grosser (drums) and David Götz (organ/bass), first saw the stage lights in 2014.

Named after the first stone tool in human history, their sound is just as raw, effective, and made from solid rock. Like its archaic namesake, the band uses their WEDGE to spark fire — especially live. On stage, Kiryk's virtuoso guitar work and Holger's explosive drumming dominate the band's sound, often driving it to multiple climaxes in epic jams. Meanwhile, David skillfully alternates between his thundering fuzz bass and a Leslie-powered organ.



But WEDGE don’t just electrify on stage. Their three studio albums, released on Heavy Psych Sounds Records, have impressed both dancers and critics worldwide with their creative, catchy songwriting and authentic production.
